How we met?
I had been working for MedImpact and John (Lisa’s brother in-law) had a bowling team he was playing on. Well I decided that I needed an extra activity to do so I plunged in an started bowling. We were man down one week and John invited Lisa to play with us. That game changed the fate for us both. After a couple weeks of her playing with the team I asked her out and our first official time together was St. Patrick’s Day 2013. That is when I brought her to a party hosted at my apartment complex where we got to play bingo and win prizes. Of course she was the first to win.
How did he propose?
Really sneaky on Christmas Eve. We were headed home after a night out at Lisa’s sister’s house. I was insisting on which present that she would like to open for the Christmas Eve tradition. Once we got home I gave her the option to pick the present that Santa bought or that I bought. She picked what I bought, while still being completely distracted by a previous conversation on her phone. She went and grabbed her present to give to me and I presented the ring to her. I was delighted to hear her say “Yes”.
